Kia ora scone lovers 👋
Scone.nz started out as a way for the founder Jayden and his colleagues to keep track of the best places to get a scone when heading out for our morning coffee… but then he decided that enough was enough and it was time to hand over the butter, the knife and the plate over to someone else.
That’s where I came in. I’m Mat and I live in Ōtautahi Christchurch and love a good scone.
There are now over 200 delicious scone locations listed across Ōtautahi Christchurch and the other major cities in New Zealand… plus the website traffic has increased 700% over the last 12 months and the scone maps have recently reached over 40,000 views!
If you’re a scone-fanatic then you can find some new scone recipes on the site. I’ve also added some cool tools including… a plain history of the scone, the State of Scone report, but we still have the classic map view that Jayden started here on the OG scone maps.
